Changes to Western Australian Town Forecasts

The service will include:

  • 7-day descriptive forecasts for 15 locations and 7-day summary forecasts for a total of 63 locations.
  • The 7-day descriptive forecasts are now presented using a mix of text and graphics.

  • All forecasts will be issued twice a day. See forecast issue times.
  • Forecasts will provide 7 days of wind direction and speed information and be described in km/h.
  • Perth forecast will include:
    • forecast temperatures (minimum and maximum) for selected suburbs.
    • forecast rainfall amounts and chance of rainfall.
  • A 7-day summary forecast can be accessed using a clickable map to help plan your week around the weather.
