A trough in the state's far northwest is forecast to extend to the southern and central areas midweek before slowly heading to the northeast later this week. Meanwhile, a series of cold fronts are forecast to skim to the south through the week. These systems will bring showers or light rain to many areas, and warm and windy conditions to the state's north and east most of the week.
