Agricultural Observations Bulletins are now available for all States and Territories as at 30 June 2004.

Agricultural Observations Bulletins which provide a range of weather data are now available for all States and Territories.

A bulletin containing weather data specifically for agricultural users has been produced on a daily basis by the New South Wales Regional Office for the past 12 months. Following this successful trial and positive feedback from users, bulletins will now be produced for all Regions.

The Agricultural Observations Bulletin, produced just after 9 am each day, gives users a snapshot of weather conditions over the past 24 hours for a number of stations around each state or territory. It includes data such as maximum and minimum temperatures, Delta T (a parameter used by those involved with spraying pesticides), rainfall and solar radiation for all the sites listed and may also include soil temperatures recorded at various depths, evaporation and wind run where the appropriate instrumentation is available.

The bulletins will be available on the Bureau's web site and should provide an easily accessible method for users to obtain this valuable information, some of which has not been available before. It is expected to be used by a very wide cross section of the agricultural community. Each State and Territory's Agricultural Bulletins can be found through the following links:
