MEDIA RELEASE - QUEENSLAND REGIONAL OFFICE
Queensland set for a very hot Christmas
The current very hot conditions over south-west Queensland are likely to spread to inland parts of the state at the weekend, and are likely to be even hotter by early next week, according to the Bureau of Meteorology's Regional Director (Queensland) Gary Foley.
The very hot conditions should extend to most coastal areas - including Brisbane - by early next week, Mr Foley said today, giving most Queenslanders a very hot Christmas.
