This is 33.0 mm below the normal of 64.0 mm on 14 days. Last year, 59.2 mm was recorded during the month of September over 19 days. The total rainfall for the four months of June to September 2006 is 90.8mm and is 197.9 mm below the average of 288.7mm for the same period. Last year 334.8mm was recorded in the same period. This is the driest June to September period since 1914 when only 76.5 mm was reported in Adelaide. The total rainfall for the first nine months of 2006 was 250.2 mm. Last year 405.0 mm was recorded over the same period. The average rainfall for the first nine months is 458.4 mm Temperatures The mean maximum temperature for September 2006 is 21.1°C, which is 2.2°C above the normal September mean maximum of 18.9°C. The mean September maximum last year was 18.9°C. The mean minimum temperature for September 2006 is 9.8°C, which is 0.2°C above the normal September mean minimum of 9.6°C.
