MONTHLY CLIMATE SUMMARY - TASMANIA

A dry season - Tasmania in autumn 2005

Rainfall for autumn was below normal in most parts of Tasmania, especially in the north of the state. Average daytime temperatures were mostly above normal, whilst average overnight temperatures were close to normal.

Below are tables of extremes, some new records, and summaries for sites across the Tasmania for autumn 2005. There are separate statements for each of the months March, April and May 2005.
