Rainfall Summary

Most of the state had average rainfall with large numbers of raindays. Standout districts being the Otways, West and South Gippsland and pockets of the Northwest had good above average rains.
A persistent trough line through central Australia help generate a deep low system with snow on the ranges and good rain on the 14-15th particularly in the West and South Gippsland. Late in the month another low produced widespread rainfalls across the State.
Raindays were broadly spread across the month, with Mount Tassie (24), Baw Baw (22) having the highest number.
