Getting there
The Melbourne Museum is located in the Carlton Gardens, opposite the Royal Exhibition Building.
By car
The car park is adjacent to the Museum building and has direct lift access to the entrance of the Melbourne Museum. You can enter the car park either via the Rathdowne Street or Nicholson Street entrances. There are also metered parking spaces available in the streets near the venue.By public transport
The Melbourne Museum is accessible by:- Tram
Routes 86 and 96 to the corner of Nicholson and Gertrude Streets The Free City Circle Tram to Victoria Parade - Train
The City loop train to Parliament Station. From here, catch either tram 86 or 96 - Bus
Bus routes 250, 251 and 402 to Rathdowne Street.
