Heatwave Situation for Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday (3 days starting 21/01/2019)

Severe intensity heatwave conditions are identified for southeastern WA and parts of South Australia, with a second area in northwest New South Wales and southwest Queensland. Widespread low intensity heatwave conditions span from the Pilbara to much of southern and eastern Australia.

Heatwave Situation for Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday (3 days starting 22/01/2019)

Severe heatwave conditions are forecast for southeast WA, much of South Australia, western NSW and northern Victoria. Low intensity heatwave conditions persisting elsewhere from the Pilbara to the northern interior and southeast of Australia, apart from the southwest of WA.

Heatwave Situation for Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday (3 days starting 23/01/2019)

Severe intensity heatwave conditions are forecast for the southeast interior and central Australia. Low intensity heatwave conditions remain from the northern interior to the southeast.

Heatwave Situation for Thursday, Friday, & Saturday (3 days starting 24/01/2019)

Severe intensity heatwave conditions persist extending from central areas to parts of the southeast interior of the country within a broader low intensity heatwave extending to the northern interior.

Heatwave Situation for Friday, Saturday, & Sunday (3 days starting 25/01/2019)

Severe intensity heatwave conditions shift to eastern NSW and the ACT. Low intensity heatwave conditions remain from central Australia to the far southeast and also the Gascoyne coast of WA.

Heatwave Situation for Saturday, Sunday, & Monday (3 days starting 26/01/2019)

Severe heatwave conditions ease significantly, with isolated patches over northeast NSW. Low intensity heatwave conditions extend from central Australia, through inland Queensland and covering much of New South Wales. Low intensity heatwave conditions also continue for the Gascoyne coast.

Heatwave Situation for Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday (3 days starting 27/01/2019)

Low intensity heatwave conditions from central Australia to the far southeast, including much of western and southern Queensland.
