Heatwave Situation for Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday (3 days starting 22/01/2020)

Low-intensity heatwave conditions are indicated over eastern and northern NSW, southern and eastern QLD and the northern parts of WA, with conditions grading to severe along coastal parts of NSW and QLD.

Heatwave Situation for Thursday, Friday, & Saturday (3 days starting 23/01/2020)

Low-intensity heatwave conditions are indicated over eastern and northeastern NSW, southern and eastern QLD and the northern parts of WA. Small areas of severe heatwave conditions exist near the central west coast of WA and along the NSW coast.

Heatwave Forecasts

Heatwave Situation for Friday, Saturday, & Sunday (3 days starting 24/01/2020)

Low-intensity heatwave conditions are forecast over the eastern and southern parts of QLD, the eastern and northern parts of NSW and the western and northern parts of WA. Areas of severe to extreme heatwave conditions are forecast along the central west coast as well as to the southeast of Broome in WA.

Heatwave Situation for Saturday, Sunday, & Monday (3 days starting 25/01/2020)

Low-intensity heatwave conditions are forecast over eastern and northern NSW, most areas of WA and parts of southern and east coast of QLD as well as northeast Top End in NT. Areas of severe heatwave conditions are predicted over western and northern WA.

Heatwave Situation for Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday (3 days starting 26/01/2020)

Low-intensity heatwave conditions are forecast over eastern and northern NSW into far northeast VIC with small areas over southern QLD as well as the far northern parts of the country. Widespread low intensity heatwave conditions over WA and western NT, grading to locally severe through parts of the Gascoyne and Northern Interior District including adjacent areas of WA.

Heatwave Situation for Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday (3 days starting 27/01/2020)

Low-intensity heatwave conditions are forecast over WA, through the central parts of the country and across southern QLD and eastern and northern NSW. Severe with small areas of extreme heatwave conditions are predicted over the inland areas of WA.

Heatwave Situation for Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday (3 days starting 28/01/2020)

Low-intensity heatwave conditions are forecast over WA through SA, across southern QLD and most parts of NSW as well as eastern TAS. Severe with small areas of extreme heatwave conditions are predicted over the inland areas of WA and central parts of SA.
