In the wake of the broad complex low currently located in the Tasman Sea, a high
pressure system dominates the eastern part of the country. Onshore flow in the
QLD north tropical coast is causing isolated showers and thunderstorms and low
cloud is covering much of inland NSW and VIC.

A series of troughs connected to a low lying just south of western SA continues
to generate a band of cloud over much of SA.

A cold front and trough along with their associated cloud band and storm
approaching southwestern WA.

Apart from high cloud straming across the Pilbara and southern NT, the northern
and central part of the country is mostly cloud free due to broad regions of
high pressure.
