Ex-Tropical Cyclone "Trevor" is currently located well inland near the NT and
QLD border. Extensive cloud continues to circulate around the low. Thick middle
and high level cloud is being pulled to the southeast by a strong cold front
which extends from northeast NSW to the Tasman Sea. Speckled, cellular cloud and
thunderstorms to the west of the front indicates the colder air mass that is now
pushing over southern SA, Victoria and Tasmania. More active embedded
thunderstorms can also be seen over central QLD.

Tropical Cyclone "Veronica" is weakening close to the WA coast, near Port
Hedland. High and middle level cloud and thunderstorms extend from the cyclone
over central Western Australia to the NT border.

Thunderstorms across northern and western parts of the NT are being generated by
low pressure troughs.
