IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC Chart Issued at 11:12 am EDT Sunday on 17 February 2019 Tropical Cyclone "Oma" sits out over the Coral Sea, well away from the QLD coast. TC "Oma" is embedded within the Monsoon Trough and a large area of convection surrounds the system. A cold front has brought patchy, middle level cloud to the south east of the country. Low cloud over the southern Western Australian coastline is driven by onshore flow trapped under a large high pressure ridge. The remainder of Australia is relatively clear.
