A low pressure trough extends from northeastern NSW through to central
Australia, the NT and down the WA coast. Areas of cloud can be seen near the
trough with scattered thunderstorms developing, particularly in the northern
tropics, southern QLD and northern NSW. A band of middle to high level cloud
extends from the Kimberley through the central part of the country to the mid
NSW coast.

The remainder of the continent is mostly cloud free apart from areas of mainly
low cloud over TAS and about the coastal areas of NSW and southern QLD.
