A cold front is moving over eastern Victoria. A pool of cold, unstable air is
evident behind the front as depicted by the speckled cloud over waters from the
Vic/SA border westwards across the Great Australian Bight.

Middle and high level cloud extends from the southeastern Northern Territory
through NSW, Victoria and Tasmania then well south into Southern Ocean where a
deep low pressure system lies southwest of Tasmania.

Extensive cloud off the Queensland coast is associated with an upper trough
enhancing shower and convective activity in the southeast trade wind flow.

A large area of jetstream cloud is moving across the southern Indian Ocean into
the Southern Ocean south of WA.
