IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0600UTC Chart Issued at 5:59 pm EST Monday on 15 August 2022 A low pressure system lies just east of Tasmania with a well defined cloud band wrapping into the centre from the Tasman Sea. Extensive cloud covers southern NSW, Vic and Tasmania. Scattered low level cloud also extends over much of southeast South Australia. A cold front and trough is approaching WA and the associated band of cloud extends onto much of the western half of WA, south of the Pilbara district. The rest of the country is mostly clear under the influence of a high pressure system that is slow moving.
