Middle and high level cloud that is streaming across central parts of Western
Australia and through into the Bight is associated with a cold front that is
moving through the southwest of the state and a low pressure trough. In the cold
airmass behind the front, speckled cloud can be seen moving through the South
West Land Division and southern parts of the WA coast.

Further east, high cloud ahead of the frontal band is drifting over western
parts of Tasmania. While on the east coast, extensive smoke areas remain for
central and northern areas of NSW and southeast Queensland due to ongoing
bushfires.
