Patchy middle to high level cloud over New South Wales is associated with a
surface trough and upper level jet stream. While low cloud over Tasmania and
southern Victoria is with a cold front which is crossing Bass Strait.

Middle level cloud is streaming down from a tropical low over the Indian Ocean
towards the Pilbara and Gascoyne districts of Western Australia.
