A trough is moving off the eastern seaboard. Its associated cloud band stretches
from Cape York south to the Tasman Sea. Thunderstorms are affecting the northern
tropics, as well as, southeastern Qld. A cloud band associated with a cold front
is approaching southwestern corner of WA.

An extensive region of low level cloud sits over NSW and parts of the Vic. 

The remainder of the continent is relatively clear.
