A cold front near Adelaide stretches over Tasmania and the southern Tasman Sea.
Cloud over the southeast of the continent is associated with this front.

A middle level cloud band sweeps down from near Cocos Island to northern parts
of South Australia. This is associated with a jetstream in the upper levels of
the atmosphere.

Patchy low cloud is over southwest WA.

The remainder of the country is mostly clear under the influence of a high
pressure ridge.
