A cold front with an extensive cloud band continues its progress across eastern
Australia, with convective cloud in the cloud band over the Tasman Sea. Another
cold front is in the eastern Bight and is moving east, with an associated band
of cloud, which extends to Vic and Tas.

A thin band of upper cloud fed by tropical moisture from the Indian Ocean lies
over the Gascoyne Region of WA.

The remainder of the country remains relatively clear under the influence of a
high pressure ridge, extending from the west, onto the central part of the
continent, except low clouds for the southern coastal and adjacent regions of
the continent.
