A high in the Bight is directing onshore winds and areas of low cloud over
southern parts of Australia. Low level cloud also extends over eastern NSW,
while isolated thunderstorms are evident near the Mid North Coast and Hunter
Coast. Patchy cloud is visible in the vicinity of a trough through the interior
of Queensland.

In the west, an upper level trough is resulting in some mid to high level cloud
with isolated thunderstorms over the inland parts of Western Australia. Clear
conditions persist elsewhere through the interior and across northern Australia
with a dry airmass.
