Shower and thunderstorm activity continues across the north, particularly near a
low pressure system (ex-Tropical Cyclone Owen) over land on Cape York Peninsula.
A surface trough lies across the region.

A cloud band stretches from South Australia across New South Wales to the Tasman
Sea. This is also associated with a surface trough.

Extensive thunderstorm activity is affecting Western Australia.

A weak cold front has brought cloud to southwest Tasmania.
