Middle and high level cloud is streaming across southern districts of Western
Australia with isolated thunderstorms over the South Coast and Eucla districts.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms are evident about the Arnhem district of the
NT. Onshore winds are resulting in patchy low cloud about the Queensland coast
and inland areas of the Central Highlands & Coalfields, the Wide Bay & Burnett
and Sunshine Coast. Much of the interior of the continent is clear due to a
stagnant ridge of high pressure.

Further south, a cold front is clearing to the east of Tasmania, while a
westerly airstream behind the front continues to bring low cloud to the west of
the state. Low cloud is visible across southern agricultural areas of South
Australia and coastal Victoria. High level cloud is drifting from southern
Western Australia across the Bight.
