 An extensive cloud band extends across central and eastern parts of the country
associated with a cold front linking up to an inland surface trough. The cloud
band has active areas of thunderstorms throughout and stretches from the
Kimberley region of WA, across the Territory and then down across QLD, NSW, VIC
and Tasmania. 

A developing cold front over the Great Australian Bight has an associated cloud
band with the cold airmass evident by the cellular cloud in the wake of the main
cloud band. 

Outside of the Kimberley region, Western Australia is free of most of the cloud
and weather with only a small area of low level cloud along southern coastal
