Some areas of high cloud remain over eastern New South Wales and Tasmania. An area of convective cloud can be seen just off the north coast of NSW.

A cloud band extends from the Indian Ocean over the central interior of Western Australia and South Australia. This is due to an upper trough. A frontal cloud band lies over the southwest of WA.

Some high cloud is moving over the Northern Territory Top End and the tip of Cape York Peninsula.
