An area of middle level cloud with embedded thunderstorms covers much of the
coastal region of NSW and the tropical part of Queensland. Low level cloud
generated by a moist easterly airstream also covers the coastal regions of NSW,
eastern Victoria and coastal regions of Queensland.

Much of the inland part of the continent is clear but showers and isolated
thunderstorms are present across most of the tropical north. Middle level cloud
with embedded thunderstorms are also present over the western Kimberley, western
Pilbara and Central West Gasycone district of WA, extending into the Southwest
Land Division.

A weak trough across western Victoria and Tasmania is generating areas of low
level cloud along the southern coast of Victoria and Tasmania.
