IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 1200UTC Chart Issued at 2:40 am EDT Friday on 22 January 2021 Convective cloud and thunderstorms are visible across the northern tropics, and in central NSW extending up to southern QLD, associated with a series of surface troughs. A developing Tropical Low off the northwest WA coast is generating large areas of mid to high level cloud across northern WA, spreading across inland parts of the continent. A cold front east of Tasmania is associated with a large mid to high level cloud band. Moist onshore flow is bringing areas of low level cloud to the far southwest WA coast, northeast NSW and southeast QLD.
