IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0600UTC Chart Issued at 6:28 pm EDT Sunday on 07 March 2021 Severe Tropical Cyclone Niran continues to move southeast while, EX-Tropical Cyclone Marian, to the far west of WA, is moving southwards and is expected to weaken further. Areas of cloud are present through the interior of the country associated with an upper level feature. Cloud associated with this system also extends onto eastern SA and is streaming out across NSW, VIC and TAS. Patches of convective cloud and thunderstorm activity can be seen in northern SA, southwestern NT, northern WA and the Top End into eastern QLD. A ridge of high pressure over the central and southeastern part of the country is maintaining mostly clear conditions apart from some low cloud over southern and eastern coastal areas.
