IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1800UTC chart on 26 March 2015 Issued at 5:45 am EDT Friday on 27 March 2015 Bands of cloud are circling a low pressure complex over Tasmania, eastern Bass Strait and the Tasman Sea. Cloud is spiralling over Tasmania, southern Victoria and adjacent waters of the eastern Bight, Bass Strait and the Tasman Sea. The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Nathan lies just off the far north Kimberley coast. Middle level cloud is streaming southward over the NT and northeast of WA. Active thunderstorms are visible over the Top End of the NT and northern parts of the Kimberley in WA. Isolated thunderstorms are also evident over the far northwest tropics of Queensland. Thunderstorms are also active from the Gascoyne region south to Perth, and along a surface trough over inland Queensland although they have mostly subsided in this region overnight.
