Ex-Tropical Cyclone Owen is centred offshore of the coast of Mackay, Queensland
with associated cloud band mostly off the coast. 

A low centred south of Tasmania and associated trough maintains a band of cloud
in the Bass Strait and over Tasmania.
Low cloud covers southeastern parts of South Australia, southern areas of
Victoria and inland eastern parts of NSW.

Areas of cloud is present along a trough extending from southern WA through the
NT to the central Gulf Country in western Queensland. 

Central Australia and much of the rest of WA, except the far southwest, is
mostly cloud free.
