A cool west to southwest airstream is over the southeast of the country. A cloud
band associated with a cold front extends along the coast of Victoria and then
to the east of Tasmania. Areas of low cloud extend over eastern and central
NSW, southeast SA and most of Victoria and Tasmania.

Cloud is also over Cape York due to a moist trade wind flow.

The rest of the country remains generally cloud-free under the influence of a
large high pressure system.
