Afternoon thunderstorms stretch from central Queensland into the Tasman Sea,
with some isolated thunderstorms also through parts of the central Northern
Territory.

A low pressure system can be seen moving offshore of eastern Victoria, with
thick cloud and embedded thunderstorms moving away from the continent and
towards New Zealand.

A cold front and deep low pressure system in the Southern Ocean are edging
closer to the south-east.

The rest of the continent remains relatively cloud free, apart from some high
level cloud through the South West Land Division, and some lower cloud brushing
the far south-west coast of Western Australia associated with the cold front.
