A monsoon trough extends from a low in the western part of the Northern
Territory through to the Queensland border causing a broad area of cloud with
embedded thunderstorms.

A trough extending from a low in the Tasman sea is reaching across the entire
eastern coastline of Queensland bringing thick cloud and thunderstorms to the
area.

A weakening cold front is moving over northeastern Tasmania.

Areas of low cloud are present on the south coast of Western Australia and South
Australia due to a moist onshore airflow.

The rest of the country is mostly cloud free.
