IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0600UTC Chart Issued at 5:25 pm EST Sunday on 03 July 2022 A band of cloud lies over much of eastern NSW, associated with a slow moving upper low over the area. Lower level cloud also covers the central and southern NSW coast as a low pressure system developing offshore pushes a moist easterly airstream onto the NSW coast south of Newcastle. A broader upper level trough and associated jetstreak over Qld and NSW is leading to a band of cloud across Qld, with embedded thunderstorms offshore. Low cloud prevails along the southern coastal fringe of the continent east of the SA/WA border in the Bight in the onshore southeastwind flow. The rest of the continent remains mostly clear.
