A complex surface trough system has developed over the inland parts of the
continent with the main trough stretching from south of WA to central parts of
NT and extends further into QLD and eastern NSW. Areas of clouds and
thundertorms can be seen at the vicinity of the troughs.

A cold front to the south of the continent is moving towards TAS and the
associated band of cloud extends on to VIC and Tas.
