A band of cloud with embedded thunderstorms extends south, east of a surface
trough, from northern Qld through eastern NSW.

Areas of cloud with embedded thunderstorms also covers central and northern WA
and much of the NT.

A cold front and its associated cloud band has move east of Tas into the
southern Tasman Sea.

Onshore flow due to a high pressure system south of the Bight is bringing low
cloud to Vic, Tas and the southeast coast of SA.
