A band of middle level cloud lies over eastern Vic and southeastern NSW. This is
due to an upper level disturbance and a surface trough.

Mid to high level cloud band with embedded thunderstorms stretches from central
WA through to Qld and eastern NSW associated with a trough.

Low to mid level cloud and thunderstorms associated with a trough and an upper
level disturbance can be seen over northern WA, southern NT and northern SA.

A cold front and its associated cloud band extends over Vic and Tas.

Onshore flow due to a high pressure system in the Bight is bringing low cloud to
the southern coast due to onshore flow.
