A weakening low pressure system is located off the southwest coast of Western
Australia, producing cloud and showers over southwest WA and surrounding ocean

A middle level cloud band extends from northwest WA to the Bight, associated
with a trough. Cloud is streaming further through South Australia, New South
Wales and Victoria, producing some showers. Skies are clear over northern NSW,
Queensland and the Northern Territory due to this high pressure system and its
associated ridge, apart from some coastal showers in Queensland due to onshore
flow of moist oceanic air.

A cold front and trough are affecting Tasmania and southwest Victoria, bringing
some showers.
