A cold front is moving off the eastern seaboard. Its associated cloud band
stretches from Cape York south to the Tasman Sea. Extensive thunderstorm
activity can be seen, particularly off the Queensland coast. Thunderstorms are
also affecting the Top End region of NT reaching just across the border into far
northern WA.

An extensive region of low level cloud sits over NSW and southern Queensland.

The remainder of the continent is relatively clear. Parts of the SA and Victoria
coasts as well as much of Tasmania have low cloud from onshore flow.
