IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0000UTC Chart Issued at 12:48 pm EDT Wednesday on 20 January 2021 Tropical monsoon activity continues to be visible in the north of the country with convective cloud and thunderstorms. A band of mid to high level cloud stretches from the central interior to the southwest coast of WA, with embedded thunderstorms. Elsewhere, high pressure systems in the Indian Ocean and Tasman Sea are directing low level cloud to the western WA coast and along the Great Dividing Range in NSW and Qld. The remainder of the country remains mostly cloud-free.
