A strong cold front and associated cloud band is moving across the southwest of
Western Australia. A cold unstable airmass is evident behind the front with
showers and isolated thunderstorms about the southwest coast.

High pressure is dominating the southeast of the country with stable conditions.
Some fog patches and low cloud are evident about the ranges. Southeasterly winds
are resulting in isolated light showers about the tropical Queensland coast
while freshening northwesterly winds are bringing patchy low cloud to western
Tasmania.

Clear conditions persist through the interior and across the north of the
country apart from patchy high cloud drifting over the Pilbara.
