The subtropical ridge is keeping most of Australia cloud free. The low cloud
along the New South Wales coast is due to an onshore southeasterly wind flow
directed by the ridge. Isolated thunderstorms are also visible over northeast
NSW in a moist unstabel air mass.

Few thunderstorms are visible off the coast of Broome near a weak low pressure
system. Middle level cloud extending from Exmouth to east of Geraldton is due to
middle level instability. A cold front is tracking to the southwest of Western
Australia.
