In the south, a low-pressure system with an associated cold front is passing
over Western Victoria. There is speckled cloud to the west of this system,
indicating the cooler air that is following this system.

A low pressure trough extends across northern Australia, producing storms over
northern Queensland and the Cape York peninsula. Some mid-level cloud produced
by these storms are moving southeast over Central Queensland.

A high to the west of Western Australia is pushing across the Indian Ocean,
trapping low cloud near the coast in the southwest.
