Active thunderstorm activity continues over the Tropical north of the country. A
trough of low pressure extends from central Queensland through to the northeast
of New South Wales, triggering isolated thunderstorms over central Queensland
and northeastern NSW. Further south, a cold front has moved to the east of
Tasmania.

Areas of active isolated thunderstorms and patchy areas of cloud cover much of
Western Australia, and are associated with a broad area of low pressure.

Patchy low level cloud covers coastal parts of southern Victoria and Tasmania
due to a moist onshore air stream. Remainder of the country remains mostly
clear.
