A low pressure system off the Mid North Coast of NSW is generating extensive
shower and thunderstorm activity offshore. Isolated showers and thunderstorms
are visible about the central coast of NSW while patchy cloud is moving offshore
from Southeast Queensland.

A cold front is moving through southern coastal areas of Western Australia with
patchy cloud drifting ahead of this system from the Bight towards Tasmania. High
level cloud is drifting across southern districts of Western Australia. Onshore
winds are resulting in patchy cloud along the tropical Queensland coast.

The remainder of Australia is mostly clear under a ridge of high pressure.
