A series of cold fronts and troughs are moving across the southern part of the
Indian Ocean, over Western Australia, South Australia and through the Bight.
Patchy middle to high level cloud with embedded thunderstorms extend throughout
the region associated with these systems. High level cloud streaming out ahead
of one system can be seen moving over South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.

The remainder of the continent is mainly cloud free under the influence of a
high pressure ridge.
