Areas of cloud with isolated embedded thunderstorms can be seen in the vicinity
of surface troughs over northern Australia.

Mid to high level cloud is streaming across the southeast parts of the country
and is associated with a broad upper level trough further to the west.

The remainder of the country is largely clear due to a high pressure system
centred just south of South Australia.
