IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1200UTC Chart Issued at 1:16 am EDT Sunday on 15 December 2019 Areas of cloud with isolated embedded thunderstorms can be seen in the vicinity of surface troughs over northern Australia. Mid to high level cloud is streaming across the southeast parts of the country and is associated with a broad upper level trough further to the west. The remainder of the country is largely clear due to a high pressure system centred just south of South Australia.
