Middle and high level cloud is streaming across southern districts of WA with
isolated thunderstorms over southeast parts of the state. The far north of the
NT and the Kimberley district has some residual cloud from overnight shower and
storm activity.

Onshore winds are resulting in patchy low cloud over mainly coastal parts of
Queensland. Much of the interior of the continent is clear due to a stagnant
ridge of high pressure. Further south, low cloud extends over western and
southern parts of Tasmania, and southern parts of Victoria and SA in a mild
onshore flow.
