IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1200UTC chart on 25 May 2015 Issued at 11:00 pm EST Monday on 25 May 2015 Cloud with isolated thunderstorms extending from the northwest of WA into southern parts of the NT, much of SA, NSW and southern QLD is due to a surface and an upper level trough. Patchy high cloud can be seen streaming across the east of the country into the Tasman Sea ahead of the upper level trough. A cloud band associated with a cold front is evident to the south of WA while a trough, with low and mid level cloud, is moving across Tasmania. A high pressure system centered over eastern NSW extends a ridge along Queensland's east coast. This is causing mostly clear conditions over areas in the tropical north.
