A broad trough extends from outback New South Wales into the Tasman Sea,
bringing rain to southern NSW, eastern Victoria and eastern Tasmania.

A cold front with some low cloud is moving across the Bight and WA south coast,
with a pool of cold air behind it indicated by the patchy cloud.

Northern Australia is mainly free of cloud, however there are areas of rain and
embedded thunderstorms associated with troughs over the Top End, the tip of Cape
York and coastal northwest Western Australia.
